Kill the Comic

  • Free
  • Comedy

Melbourne Comedy Club hands the mic to the crowd in a free-for-all, where anyone in the room can end up on stage. You can also be in the audience for free – no need to put your name in.

Got jokes? This is your shot.
- Put your name (or your mate’s) on a piece of paper and drop it in the bucket.
- Throughout the night, names get pulled at random.
- If you get called out, you’re up with one minute on the mic to make the room laugh.
- Get the laughs and the glory, or fail hard in front of a packed house.
- Either way, the panel pulls you aside straight after for a short interview or a roast.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
