Blindside x LA Sound Series: Entangled Transmissions

Since 2014, the Blindside x Liquid Architecture Sound Series has provided a platform for artists working critically and experimentally with sound and listening. The series supports the development and presentation of innovative art practices that engage sound and listening, through exhibitions, performances, and public programs presented at Blindside gallery.

The 2026 edition of the Sound Series, ‘Entangled Transmissions’, brings together new works by four Melbourne-based artists, with practices embracing sonic, sculptural, and cinematic sensibilities. Works by Pratyay Raha, Amaara Raheem, Adele Wilkes, and Jahan Xanlü tune into more-than-human communication, lost languages, ecological agents, and sound across time, in a shifting sonic landscape spread across two floors.

The 2026 Sound Series is supported by a City of Melbourne Annual Arts Grant.
