Austral Salon of Music August Recital

Gifted pianists, twelve-year-old Caitlin Au and eleven-year-old Jacqueline Wang, perform at the August Recital of the Austral Salon of Music. Both are music scholars at their schools and both study with Professor Glenn Riddle at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Both have been awarded the Licentiate in Music Australia (LMusA) with distinction - an exceptional achievement for their age. Both have been awarded major prizes in competitions, in Australia and overseas.

Jacqueline performs Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, and Caitlin performs Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 13 in C major. The concerti will be accompanied by the Mozart Festival Chamber Players - an outstanding young string quartet led by Rita Liao.
