Join the opening night celebrations for A Family Gathering, a group exhibition as part of Asian Heritage Week.

This opening night transforms the exhibition into a multi-arts experience that moves between gallery and gathering. Works from 40 artists are presented inside in a dense salon-style hang alongside curated stalls and a bar. Outside, the courtyard opens with DJs and live performances.

Across the night you can expect DJ sets, live performances and curated stalls including I-Ching fortune telling, live portraits and poetry.

The exhibition continues as a free public gallery experience from 20–31 May during gallery hours.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
