The North Face

  • Sport
  • Recreation

The North Face offers an extensive range of performance apparel, equipment, and footwear made for the outdoors.

The brand creates durable and lightweight gear for a range of outdoor activities such as rock-climbing, skiing, hiking, sailing, mountaineering and more.

Named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain, The North Face ironically started as an idea on a beach in San Francisco in 1966. Since then the founders, both hiking enthusiasts, have gone on to help explorers reach the heights of the Himalayas and adventurers connect with nature worldwide.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
