Towa

Tōwa is a Melbourne-based dessert and tea concept built around seasonality, craftsmanship and memory. Inspired by the idea of 'eternity', Tōwa explores how food can capture a moment, a season, or a feeling that stays with us.

Tea is at the heart of what they do. From matcha, hojicha and genmaicha to oolong, jasmine, osmanthus and black tea, they use tea not just as a flavour, but as a foundation for aroma, balance and depth. The desserts combine refined patisserie techniques with familiar Asian flavours, creating something elegant, approachable and quietly memorable.

Guided by the seasons, the menu changes with the ingredients available and the stories they want to tell. They value clarity, restraint and thoughtful details – every component has a purpose.

Tōwa is about more than sweetness. It is about tea, texture, balance and memory – desserts that speak softly, but leave a lasting impression.
