HuTong Dumpling Bar

  • Restaurant

With its name inspired by Shanghai’s ancient alleyways, Hutong Dumpling Bar is a popular restaurant recreating the moody ambience of a Chinese dumpling house.

In the downstairs bar, watch as your dumplings are prepared in the open kitchen. Or make your way upstairs to share banquet dining on the second floor or private dining on level three.

You'll need to practise to master the art of biting into Hutong's classic shao-long bao dumplings, filled with a chin-trickling combination of meat and soup. Of course, the menu also includes a wide variety of Chinese dishes, including typical provincial favourites such as chicken with chillies, salted braised pork, and plenty of seafood, noodles and rice.

Carefully considered desserts include mango pudding and egg custard buns.
