Winter Cooking Classes Preserves: Savoury Chutney

Join chef, author and all-round food legend Tobie Puttock, and resident food saving queen Fi Smith, at the Moving Feast Kitchen in the Purpose Precinct at Queen Victoria Market - an innovation space that's all about tackling food waste and food insecurity.

They'll will teach you how to craft a rich and flavourful chutney, using fruits and veggies that might otherwise go to waste. Learn the basics of preserving produce while adjusting your recipe based on what’s left in your fridge.

Discover the circular food system and how to make the most of leftover produce. Master chutney-making techniques and how to adjust for different ingredients. Get a taste of the best — sample a vibrant selection of Moving Feast favourites. Then take home a jar of chutney you created, made from ingredients sourced at the Queen Victoria Market!
