Jimmy Watson's

  • Bar
  • Restaurant

Jimmy Watson's has been operating out of the iconic Lygon Street venue since 1935, and is often referred to as Australia's first 'small bar'.

The venue serves up traditional, high-quality classic Italian dishes with an Australian twist. Try the beetroot risotto or the beef tortellini and leave room for the traditional tiramisu. There are a selection of pizzas available as well.

Browse the wine list for a range of wines from the great wine regions around the world, with some classic and modern labels mixed in together.

Head upstairs to the Wolf's Lair for some rooftop wine, especially in the warmer months.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
