This two-hour beginner workshop explores Fern Gully, the lush green heart of the Melbourne Gardens, through the senses and science of nature journaling.
Your instructor, Kathleen, provides a guided nature-based mindfulness practice focusing on this cool, shady sanctuary and will assist you to capture the Gully’s beauty, including fractals (repeating patterns) and the play of shadow and light (known as komorebi in Japan) on your pages.
All levels of experience are welcome, and all supplies are provided. Please note this is a roaming workshop, spending time walking, standing, sitting on grass and garden paths.
