Maracatu is an Afro-Brazilian percussion and song tradition, which is celebrated by the Maracatus Nations in the northeast of Brazil. It is a highly syncopated music that has been adapted for use with many different instruments and ensembles.
No musical experience is required, and all instruments are provided. The sessions are not suitable for children.
