Making Waves: Navigators of Hong Kong Cinema

The Hong Kong Film Festival is a touring film programme showcasing Hong Kong filmmakers whose works transformed film aesthetic, and invites film directors and casts from Hong Kong to attend the screenings cum sharing sessions.

First launched in 2022, Making Waves has already travelled to 15 international cities. This programme will take you through Hong Kong cinema's evolution, celebrating its past success while offering insights into a new dawn built on resilience and creative innovation.
