Library Up Late

The Library is one of our last true third places — a public commons for ideas, memory and imagination. Library Up Late extends this ethos, transforming State Library Victoria into an after-hours playground for collective creative expression.

Roam the Library’s grand halls and hidden corners with exclusive late-night access to new exhibitions and curator talks. Then, surrender to the sounds of Melbourne’s most visionary DJs as they reanimate the iconic Dome with rhythm, light and movement. For one night only, the Library shifts from stillness to pulse — a celebration of knowledge, nightlife and the culture we create together.
