Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio with Laurel Halo

  • Free
  • Talk

Boundary-defying composer and producer Laurel Halo joins Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio (MESS) co-founder Robin Fox to explore a soundworld that drifts between ambient, jazz and avant-pop.

From the acclaimed 2012 debut Quarantine to the masterful Atlas, Laurel Halo continues to reshape the electronic music landscape.

A frequent collaborator with artists including Bendik Giske, Lucy Railton and Moritz von Oswald, Halo brings a tender, textural depth to experimental sound. This conversation opens a portal into process, practice and the evolving potential of listening.

Presented with Now or Never.

The MESS in Conversation series is supported by City of Melbourne Arts Grants.
