This beginner workshop combines creativity, science and mindfulness exploring spring in the Gardens. Your instructor Dr. Kathleen Bagot provides warm-up exercises, examples and templates to draw on. All levels of experience are welcome and all supplies provided, including coloured pencils and watercolour paints.
At the end of this session, you will have created at least two nature journal pages, learnt some skills to capture your time in nature on the page and different ways of setting up your journal page. You will take home the nature journal pages you create, plus specific skills and ideas to try at home.
Kathleen has been nature journaling for over five years. She has studied nature connection and the benefits of spending time in nature for adults and children, earning a PhD in Environmental Psychology and is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide.
