Fieldnotes on Being, Together

  • Free
  • Workshop

Over the past 18 months An.Other Collective collected words and thoughts that reflect the ways we work and care for each other, navigate the world, and create places where we belong.

These field notes are the beginning of An.Other Collective’s Manifesto, an ongoing project that guides and helps foster reflection.

Join An.Other Collective artists for a relaxed drop-in workshop and gathering. Come whenever you like, stay as long as you like, and create your own ‘field notes’ to add to the growing archive of collective gathering, caring, struggling, making, and eating.

This event is a collaboration between Next Wave and An.Other Collective for 'Archives are Hot! Artists in the Archive' – a two-day program of workshops, talks and activations.

'Archives are Hot! Artists in the Archive' is supported by City of Melbourne.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
