Fashion x Music Presented by Collarts

  • Art

Featuring Antiek East, Asau by Gabriel Cole, Asiyam, Collective Closets, Gail Sorronda, Grace Lillian Lee, J’Aton Couture, Jason Grech, Nofunovic, Edition X Sarrita King, Sean Rentero and Social Studio, this show reimagines the boundaries of a fashion show through a fusion of fashion, live music and performance.

Twelve performers will emerge at different moments – each bringing to life a unique blend of sound, movement, and presence. As the show progresses, these shifting performances create an evolving soundscape that echoes the cultural roots and musical inspirations of each featured designer.

Through an interplay of garments, sound and movement, the runway delves into how cultural stories are told, retold and reshaped across time. Texture becomes more than something you see or touch, but something you can hear, feel in the air, and experience within the intimate venue of the Melbourne Recital Centre.
