The Atlantic Restaurant

  • Restaurant
  • Licensed

The Atlantic Restaurant offers an exceptionally high quality seafood menu to fit a wide range of needs.

Founded by Donovan Cooke – a legend of Melbourne's culinary scene after helming 90s classics 'Est Est Est', 'Luxe' and 'Ondine') – diners know they are in great hands.

Each day the chefs source fresh stock from local, sustainable suppliers including the best wild fish, unique oyster varieties and pristine shellfish. You'll find a range of caviars, seasonal market-fresh crab, moreton bay bug or even the classic beer battered fish and chips.

Their tasting menu changes depending on what's fresh in the markets that day and their wine list includes some rare and special wines by the glass.

The dining room might be huge, but there is a great atmosphere when filled with happy diners.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.

We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection the Wurundjeri, Bunurong, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wadawurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin have to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We are committed to our reconciliation journey, because at its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples, for the benefit of all Victorians.
