Sunda
Set in a two-level brick, glass, mesh and steel structure inspired by the glowing lanterns of Asia, Sunda made local and international waves when it opened for its bold, brilliant take on Southeast Asian cuisine.
Its new iteration sees it return to its roots, this time drawing on elements of traditional cooking (think sambals and pastes hand-pounded in a mortar and pestle) imbued with a refreshing, uplifted, modern take. Familiar Southeast Asian dishes are reinterpreted in sophisticated yet fun renditions.
Come by pre-theatre for a drink, snacks and small plates on the bar tucked up the stairs, or experience Sunda over dinner (a la carte).
