Victorian Seniors Festival: Celebration Day

Come join a great celebration of older Victorians, their friends, allies and families at the launch of the Victorian Seniors Festival.

On Celebration Day, the entire precinct of Federation Square comes to life with music, dance and workshops performed by mainly older artists sharing their passion and talents across the Main Square, Riverside Stage and The Edge.

The River Terrace will be abuzz with marquees hosted by a range of festival sponsors, partners and organisations, who all support older Victorians to live their best lives.

A special feature of programming this year will be a mass ukulele workshop and performance in the Main Square around 3pm, led by Ukulele Maestro, AJ Leonard.

With trains and trams right beside Fed Square, using the free public transport for Victorian Seniors Card cardholders provided by PTV, and available from Oct 6 - 13, is the best way to get there and join in the Festival fun.
