STEM Workshops for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing Young People

  • Free
  • Family and kids

D/deaf and Hard of Hearing young people and their siblings are invited to Science Gallery Melbourne these school holidays to experience a hands-on STEM workshop delivered in Auslan and English.

Get involved and make creative tactile circuits using basic block coding and the most unlikely materials. From plants to paper, and everything in between, you will experiment with different materials to complete a circuit that triggers an animation on screen.

For enquiries you may text the Science Gallery Melbourne Learning Experiences Team mobile on 0481 476 892.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
