Visible Mending with Wunder Weave

  • Free
  • Family and kids

In this visible mending workshop with textile artist Rachel from Wunder Weave, you’ll explore darning, patching, and felting techniques that celebrate wear and tear as part of your garment’s story. From worn elbows to ripped denim, you’ll experiment with colour, texture, and stitch to make something old feel new – and entirely your own.

This is a space to slow down, stitch with intention, and reframe clothing repair as both a practical skill and a creative act. Whether you’re interested in sustainable fashion, fibre arts, or simply want to save your favourite piece from the bin, this workshop is for you.

All materials will be provided, but please bring in something worn out to mend. No sewing experience needed.

For ages 14 to 25 years only.
