Monday Movie Club

  • Talk
  • Activity

Monday Movie Club offers screenwriters, casual movie-goers, and all cinema lovers a chance to enjoy the latest in cinematic conversation pieces. Participants watch a new release at Nova Cinema, then head around the corner to Story Studios Australia for refreshments and discussion.

Monday Movie Club meets on the first Monday of every month (unless ideal session times dictate otherwise). We gather at the Nova Bar fifteen minutes before the movie starts, watch the movie as a group, and then return to the studio to gush, cuss, and discuss its merits.

This event has a minimum attendance requirement. If those numbers are not met, the event will be cancelled on March 10th by 12pm. The attendees will then be notified and refunded in full.
Due to shifting session times, screenings will be as close to 7pm as possible, but will sometimes be slightly earlier or later.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
