Sacred Scents: Bespoke Perfume Workshop

  • Workshop
  • Events

Step into the sensorial world of ancient ritual in a hands-on workshop with the Hellenic Museum and Greek-Australian fragrance house Thematikos.

Inspired by the international exhibition 'Rituals: Gifts for the Gods', the experience begins with a historian-led tour, exploring the remarkable objects on loan from Greece. Discover the deep cultural and spiritual significance of fragrance in ancient Greek life before settling into the workshop space, where Thematikos artisans will guide guests through the process of blending a bespoke eau de parfum from historically inspired accords.

Come away with a unique scent to keep, and a deeper understanding of how the ancients connected to the divine through the senses.
