Hear a free public talk about dark matter by Dr Ben McAllister, as part of National Science Week.

Australian scientists are on the brink of unravelling one of the biggest mysteries in the Universe: the nature of dark matter. Hear Ben talk about innovative research to understand the elusive substance that makes up about 85 per cent of the matter in the universe. Learn about new technologies, including quantum, developed to enhance search capabilities with minute precision. Find out how these technologies and experiments are pushing knowledge boundaries, bringing us closer to uncovering the secrets of the cosmos. Catch a glimpse into Australian and global dark matter research, and the future of quantum science.

Dr. Ben McAllister is a physicist and science communicator at Swinburne University who is either working on new experiments in dark matter and quantum technology or enthusiastically talking about them!
