Power Move: Request Fest

  • Free
  • Music

Request Fest hands the aux cord to you (yes, you), giving the people of Melbourne full control of the soundtrack. From deep house bangers to country classics and pop-punk anthems, this is your party, your playlist. Whatever that sounds like.

Part of Power Move at Fed Square, every request helps fuel Melbourne's most sustainable party. Every move generates real energy. As you stomp, spin and strut, you’ll help generate the green power that keeps the lights blazing and the tunes pumping. No silent discos here, just a city-sized party powered by movement and musical democracy. This interactive kinetic dancefloor is an open invite and a challenge to the people of Melbourne. Can Melbourne dance hard enough to power the whole thing off-grid?

Let’s move Melbourne.
