  • Talk
  • Workshop

This two-hour beginner workshop explores the Gardens’ Southern China collection, through the senses and science of nature journaling. This collection demonstrates the diverse flora of the Southern China region, as well as offering a taste of traditional Chinese garden design.

Your instructor Dr Kathleen Bagot will provide a guided, nature-based mindfulness practice focusing on this cool, shady sanctuary and then will assist you to capture some of the collection’s beauty.

All levels of experience are welcome, supplies for the session are provided. Please note this is a roaming workshop; you will spend time walking, standing and sitting on grass and the garden paths.

Kathleen is a certified nature journaling educator. She has studied nature connection earning a PhD in Environmental Psychology, and is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and mindfulness facilitator.
