Hand Quilting Class

Take a two-hour class in English Paper Piecing, with all basic equipment supplied.

English Paper Piecing is the technique of hand-pieced quilting by first basting (wrapping) the fabric around a paper template then stitching the pieces together.

The beginner class will show you the basics of English Paper Piercing, basting hexagons – stitch and glue method – and how to piece basted hexagons together by whip and flat stitching.

Basic fabric is supplied for teaching process. If you want to start a larger project, bring along your own selection of quilting weight cotton. Some fabric is available for purchase, as are more design project templates.
