This beginner workshop explores the calming space of the Sensory Garden, through the senses and science of nature journaling.
The Sensory Garden is designed to stimulate different senses, incorporating plants with colour, texture, aroma and taste. During this roaming workshop, explore a range of plants, gently touch them, inhale fragrances, listen to the surrounding sounds of wind rustling through the plants, bird calls and nearby water.
Kathleen Bagot is a certified nature journaling educator, and provides a guided nature-based mindfulness practice focusing on this magical space and then will assist you to capture your interactions and impressions on your journal page.
All levels of experience are welcome, all supplies are provided. Please note that this is a roaming workshop; you will spend time walking, standing and sitting on grass and the garden paths.
