In her first Australian exhibition, Brazilian artist Nadine Guerra explores the transition from tattoo linework for human canvases to colourful Australian botanicals, blurring the lines between traditional tattooing and organic forms on the canvas.
Guerra's work shows depth, creativity and sensitivity, reaching far beyond the pictorial to explore a melding of styles to reimagine something more significant. What begins as an idea through the lens of tattoo design grows into a deeper exploration of form, meaning, and connection with the land.
Peruse eight of Guerra's tranquil works, joined by four energetic mixed media works from local artist Wendy Grace, over a glass or two of fine wine.
Original works for sale.
