His workshops cover the basics of deconstruction, timber stripping, sanding, refinishing, upholstery and aftercare. And each session is a journey through the various living zones in the iconic house museum.

Edwin Fox is an independent furniture restorer. Specialising in mid-century, he hopes that through his work to connect the importance of sustainability, reducing waste while working with inspiring objects from the past.

Edwin has a background in art and design, including a National Vocational Qualification in traditional upholstery. Edwin has channelled his skills and energy into the physical aspects of design, whereby his career has now evolved into the restoration of furniture here in Melbourne.
