Jazz and Improvisation Mega Day

Jazz and Improvisation Mega Day is back for 2025! This jam-packed event will see participants will engage in large and small workshops, learn improvisation techniques, meet with like-minded musicians and perform some incredible music together. Learn specific skills and concepts for your instrument or voice.

Participants will engage in vibrant programming led by the MCM Jazz and Improv teaching staff, aimed at exploring the different aspects of the Jazz and Improvisation genres. The closing concert will feature staff and students of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in a showstopper showcase.

With an incredible slate of performances, workshops and discussion sessions, there's something here for everyone. Expand your repertoire, gain new teaching strategies, or get inspired to take your musicianship to the next level. Don’t miss your chance to step into the spotlight.
