Kids' Flicks with Feelings: Studio Ghibli

Everyone is intelligent in different ways. Some people are good at maths, some people are good at English, and some people are emotionally intelligent. Whether your strength is emotional intelligence or not, the good news is that we can hone our skills through practice - and Studio Ghibli films are a great way to do that.

All of the films in this program are produced by Studio Ghibli who have filled them with magic, adventure and lots of fun. They all feature wonderful music by composer Joe Hisaishi.

Before each screening a piece of music from the film will be played, and attendees can consider what the musicians and filmmakers wanted you to feel. The ACMI team will also take a moment to introduce the concepts of emotional intelligence to younger viewers in the audience.
