Through an anthology of stories from a future India, this groundbreaking performance follows a motley crew who bridge heritage, science and society with a mix of videogames, AI art and classical dance.

Created by Indian electronica pioneers Murthovic (music producer/DJ) and Thiruda (visual artist/VJ) and supported by the British Council’s India/UK Season of Culture 2022-23, Elsewhere in India breaks new ground in Indofuturism.

Audiences will experience a richly layered world of next-gen characters and electro-classical dance, including Meenakshi, an out-of-work cyborg striving to preserve lost cultural artefacts.
