  • Events

Explore the art of collage in a hands-on 2.5 hour workshop using repurposed magazine paper. Dive into patterns, textures, and layering while embracing spontaneity and play. This session encourages creativity, letting go, and seeing the beauty in unexpected compositions. No experience needed, all materials provided.

Your host, Christina Darras, is a mixed media artist and yoga instructor passionate about the intersection of art and mindfulness. Originally from Athens, she studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts (Paris) and Central St Martins (London). Her work spans painting, embroidery, and jewellery design, with collaborations including the Benaki Museum, Genesis Gallery, Boom Gallery, and Crafts Victoria.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
