Birrarung Floating Wetlands Trial, Walking Tour

Tour the City of Melbourne floating wetlands in the Yarra River, Birrarung as part of a trial supported by the Victorian Government. This event is being held in collaboration with University of Melbourne who are have been involved in the monitoring of wildlife for the trial.

Discover some of the key learnings of the trial and the future potential of the ecological enhancements for the river. Allowing 2 hrs, the tour is planned to start at Enterprize Park and then walk to Yarra's Edge. We will also touch on the City's plans for improvements to the north bank of the river through the Greenline Project and pass by the new Seafarers Rest Park in Docklands.

This tour is being hosted by City of Melbourne and the Greenline Project.

This event is part of the Birrarung Riverfest. Celebrate our river at one of 60+ events hosted over three weeks from 6–28 September.
