Afloat Viva Mexico

Melbourne's favourite floating bar and restaurant returns for its eighth season on the Yarra River (Birrarung) as Afloat Viva Mexico – a celebration of the rich and vibrant culture of Mexico.

Inspired by the vivacious spirit of Mexico City, Guadalajara and Oaxaca, as well as the tropical jungle-meets-beach paradise, Tulum, Afloat has embraced the new theme across interiors, branding, food, drinks, special events and entertainment.

The fun, fresh and spice-centric menu is fit for fiestas of all shapes and sizes. It features an array of seafood platters and raw bites, platos pequeños (small plates), tacos, tortas and platos grandes (large plates), along with Afloat’s signature wood-fired pizzas, which return with a Mexican spin.

Complementing the new menu, a spirited and lively drinks list is mezcal and tequila focused, with margaritas of all tastes and flavours.
