The Community Grocer Carlton

The Community Grocer Carlton is a weekly pop-up fruit and vegetable market selling up to 140 types of fruit and vegetables at affordable prices.

The Community Grocer is a not-for-profit social enterprise that addresses the physical, economic and social barriers to accessing fresh food by holding markets in convenient locations in low-income areas; stocking culturally relevant produce; and creating a weekly gathering space that promotes community connections and celebrates diversity.

To get to the market from Lygon St, head down the ramp and towards the base of the high-rise buildings. The market is outside the Community Hall. You can also enter from 478 Drummond Street.
