The Commentators Club Luncheon

The Commentators Club annual event is a Melbourne Institution.

Held on the Thursday before the AFL Grand Final the event brings together AFL greats, comedians, ARIA award-winning artists (as well as some surprise guests), with a three-course luncheon and beverages. This massive afternoon is designed to be the perfect lead up to the AFL Grand Final.

So far the line-up includes Brad Johnson (AFL and Western Bulldogs legend), Nick Cody (stand-up comedian and FoxFM radio host) and Mike Allen, (​ARIA award-winning composer).

The Commentators Club is non-profit. Each year a grass roots Melbourne based charity is chosen to be the beneficiary of funds raised. This year's charity is Anonymous X, who work tirelessly to provide much needed support to homeless Melbournians.
