Taste of Cruelty is a new interdisciplinary work by Sara Cowdell and Ethan Morse.
Blending performance art, dance, verbatim text, and theatre, the piece navigates the aftermath of sexual assault. Using the body as a point of departure, Sara and Ethan examine themes of dominance, fear, and the complex spaces in between – resisting neat narratives of healing or vilification.
Both beautiful and confronting, Taste of Cruelty delves into the unspeakable, exposing the visceral and unpredictable nature of misogyny.
