For the Origins Project, artist Paddo (Steven Patterson) has created prints featuring landscapes using relief and intaglio techniques, an insight into his passion for art and authenticity. By using inks he has created from locally sourced raw materials and drawing on his extensive pigment research, Paddo produces prints of images that capture the essence of the locations that inspire them. Drawing on the etchings and prints from the past, Paddo hopes to create pieces that not only inspire but also capture the urban landscapes at a particular moment in time, just as those pieces from the past have done.
