Reviving the classic tradition of kids putting on plays for their parents, but this time, parents join in on the fun.
Together, parents and their child will create a mini production, complete with basic lighting and sound design, and perform it live on stage at Arts Centre Melbourne’s The Channel. At the end of the session, friends and family are invited to The Channel to enjoy the show.
Take home a Theatre Program created especially for the play just created. Who knows, perhaps one day they could go on to direct something in the State Theatre.
Age: this workshop is recommended for ages 10-15 year olds.
This workshop is part of Arts Centre Melbourne's Families Program and is designed to be a collaboration between a child and their parent/guardian. Each ticket admits one young star-in-the-making and one guardian.
