Night Trade is back: a miscellanea of RISING mischief where you can sample the festival for free. It’s returning to the Capitol Arcade, ready to pulse down Howey Place and the surrounding laneways.

Head here for a drink at the microbars, a feed at the local eateries or grab the mic for a bout of karaoke with Mummy’s Plastic. Look out for Saeborg: the Tokyo-based artist is half human, half toy, in an adorable latex costume. Nyege Nyege Collective, seminal promoters of African electronic music, are over from Kampala, Uganda, to fill the space with afro-galactic expression.

Get your perception bent upstairs in the Capitol Theatre, directly jacking into the universal consciousness with Shohei Fujimoto’s intangible #form, transforming the theatre into an ocean of lasers that blurs the lines between the real and out-of-reach.
