Reworlding City North is a two-day, streetwide climate action Live-Action Role-Playing activation connecting Indigenous Language, Knowledges and Cosmologies with urban play, creative placekeeping and embodied learning.

Step into the year 2050, where Naarm Melbourne has grown into a sprawling megacity grappling with climate change, societal shifts and evolving technologies.

Players will shape the city’s regeneration by joining factions, gathering resources, solving puzzles and working together on creative solutions for regenerative futures. Could Melbourne survive as a megacity? RMIT’s City North Activation Challenge 2025 is closing a street for three days of urban play to find out.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future. For more information, visit Aboriginal Melbourne.
