If you’ve ever wondered how buskers make it onto the hallowed bluestone of Melbourne’s grassroots talent incubator, come along and check out the hopefuls vying for a spot in the Bourke Street Mall busking program.

A roving assessment panel will be assessing potential Bourke Street Mall buskers at the established mall performance sites in front of GPO (H&M), David Jones/Myer, Footlocker/ANZ and Rebel Sport/Priceline.

Make a beeline to the Bourke Street Mall to soak up the sounds and contribute to the atmosphere, roar with approval for your favourite artists and support street performance in the city.

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.
