Otto

  • Comedy
  • Theatre

Small, puck-like and inconsequential. Otto is a loner. He has also been able to shape-shift since he was small. Maligned by the outside world, he turns inwards, towards his family. Otto's mother is a beauty. His father, a cheat. Desperate to put an end to the womanising, Otto devises a plan to morph into his father's mistress and dump him. Things go awry when Otto, dolled up as the mistress, sleeps with his father. A darkly comedic retelling of Oedipus, Otto explores gender, sexuality and the pitfalls of the nuclear family. We promise you won't want to gouge your eyes out.
