A Big Massive Star!

  • Comedy

Two executioners trying to make renteth. One teen saint trying to save France.

What if it’s the Middle Ages and you’re two girly-pop executioners just trying to make renteth? What if your next victim is a teen saint turned ye olde Calvin Klein brand ambassador? And what if, mid-prep for Joan of Arc’s big burn, you realise your life has amounted to nothing more than endless clip clop scrolling and getting ghosted by a knight with a Friar Tuck fade? That’s a biblical quarter-life crisis. (In chainmail.)

A Big Massive Star! is a medieval piss-take about being 19, then suddenly 28 with no aspirations and only a plague to blame for lost time. It’s about to get hot in here.

From the chaotic mind of Bronte Locke (The Clit Notes, ATYP: Intersection Dawn, Bad Behaviour), starring Locke and Malaynee Hayden (Bad Behaviour, The Newsreader, The Improv Conspiracy), and directed by Maggie Looke (Hard Quiz, Aaron Chen Tonight, Have You Been Paying Attention).

Part of Melbourne Fringe Festival.
