This two-hour beginner workshop combines creativity, science and mindfulness exploring winter in the Gardens. Starting with a guided sensory exploration, then capture some of nature’s treasures on the page. All levels of experience are welcome, all supplies provided, including coloured pencils and watercolour paints.
At the end of the session you will have created at least two nature journal pages, learnt skills to capture your time in nature on the page and different ways of setting up your journal page. You will take home the nature journal pages you create, specific skills and ideas to try at home.
Your instructor Kathleen Bagot has been nature journaling for over five years. She has studied the benefits of spending time in nature for adults and children, earning a PhD in Environmental Psychology and is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide.
