An orange, hand-drawn portrait of a modern young man with a smirking expression, portrayed as a Greek God.

Myth-ing the Point

  • Comedy
  • Entertainment

How do you cover all of Greek mythology in an hour? You don't, but you can watch a Greek/Australian man try, as he flounders about and marvels at just how much of a pig his forebears could be.

From how the first woman came to be to discovering how men are literally pigs, while petty gods watch on with a bowl of popcorn, this show tip toes through the problematic quagmire of Greek mythology with all the poise and grace of a drunken seal doing ballet.

These stories are littered with problems and Kieran is trying to to make sense of this as a cis Greek man in 2025 (and trying to have a little fun doing it). Zeus may be toxic, but Kieran doesn't want to be. With some help and a little direction from Emma, let's see what happens!

These bedtime stories for adults are a silly and fun new way to experience some the oldest tales in Western tradition, whether they are old or new to you.
