Mother and Baby

  • Free

Mother and Baby is a giant puppet show about the transformative relationship between a mother and her very large, amphibious baby.

Across three sunset evenings, the pair will set sail on Carlton Gardens’ western most lake, where they will immerse you in a theatrical puppetry experience set against an iconic Melbourne backdrop.

This work by sausage woman (Olivia Floate) in collaboration with Liam Berg – through an experimental reworking of puppetry, dance, physical theatre and sound – takes your assumptions of gender roles and representation and pulls them apart.

Part of Melbourne Fringe Festival.
